Meet Shrijnana

Hi, I’m Shrijnana Sering – and I’m one of those rare types who LOVES bookkeeping.

Not only because it plays to my strengths, but because it allows me to provide impactful support to causes, initiatives, and organizations that are working to create a better world.

My clients are changemakers.

Whether they’re running a nonprofit or small business, their hearts are in the work itself, and not as much on crunching numbers.

I respect and appreciate that they want to focus their attention on what lights them up.

Because the world is better for the work they’re doing. Taking bookkeeping off their plates gives them more time to make a bigger impact.

Not only do I love working with this client profile, but I have inside experience that provides invaluable insight into their day-to-day operations.

For nearly a decade I worked as a program coordinator and then executive director of a non-profit organization that offered on-site events and retreats. I managed a small team and a large number of volunteers, and was accountable for a sizable budget and for both strategy and operations.

So, when I tell my clients that I understand all of the moving parts they have in play, I really do – because that was my life for a long time!

Both in my nonprofit career and since founding Good Karma Bookkeeping in 2018, it’s been so meaningful for me to contribute to the good that others are putting into the world. I believe in the power of grassroots organizing, and that we all can play a role – no matter how small – to the greater good.

I do that through bookkeeping! Some of the organizations I’ve supported are driving changes in environmental advocacy, violence prevention, hunger relief, and reproductive health. I’m also proud to support a variety of small businesses that contribute to a vibrant and thriving local economy.

I know that finances can be a sensitive subject. No matter what condition your books are in, or what level of financial literacy you have, you’ll be met with non-judgment and grace when you work with me.

Because you don’t deserve anything less.

Let’s get to know each other! I’d love to hear about all the good you’re doing in the world.

Shrijnana is a true professional who has helped me through my journey with three different companies over many years.  She gives you just the right support at any given point in your business life cycle.  I like to do my own Quick Books as the day-to-day entries in my books help me to stay laser-focused on what is happening in my businesses.   Shrijnana helped me learn QuickBooks in the beginning with weekly meetings.  She initially set up and organized all my books and then helped me to learn to take over.   From there she is always that “wind beneath my wings” as I know she is always an available and present resource when I have a question or run into a bookkeeping issue.  She is quick, skilled, flexible, and ever so pleasant to deal with. She has been exactly what I need at any given time in our history.  Highly recommend!
